Carbon Black for Paint & Varnish

In paints and coatings, carbon black is essentially used as a black pigment to produce colors in a spectrum from gray to deep black. The 3 main properties: primary particle size, surface and structure are mainly responsible for opacity, color location and gloss. In addition to pigment and gas blacks, flame blacks are also used, which produce a bluish undertone.
