In fibres, Carbon Black is mainly responsible for colouring, physical cleanliness and UV-resistance. Carbon black provides high colour-fastness and consistent characteristics for fibres. For good spinning properties, carbon black grades with special micro indispensability are required.
The growing demand for superior quality fabrics for durable applications such as industrial clothing, defence and outdoor wear, and the increasing importance for high tensile strength, reduction of wear & tear degradation, minimal colour migration and low environmental impact, positively influences the carbon black demand for fibre applications.
Our speciality low PAH fibre carbon blacks provide good jetness, blue undertone and filtration properties and provide food-contact EU 10/2011, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and GS-mark.
